# General Questions

Will the dashboard hold high number of concurrent visitors?

Yes, frontend, backend and APIs are cached to ensure fastest processing-free server response.

Additionally, the app is deployed withing Azure infrastructure which guarantees highly scalable and reliable resources and services.

How can I check if the live data feeds are sharing the most updated information?

All widgets specify Authority and/or data source. You may go to their website and verify if the data is valid.

Is there any delay in data updates?

We fetch and save feeds every x minutes, the delay is dependent on the feed. For example, Fire Incidents feed is updated every 5 minutes, therefore there might be up to 5 minutes delay between our dashboards and RFS data.

There is a delay because we save data from feeds locally which helps us

  • to ensure latest available data is always visible to visitors even if underlying source data is unavailable

  • helps us accumulate useful statistics about outages, incidents etc

  • ensure fastest response times under high concurrent load

How often is the dashboard’s live data feed content updated?

It depends on the feed. For example, fire incidents are updated every 5 minutes, whereas COVID-19 data is updated every 12 hours.

Is it supported in Internet Explorer (IE)?

Full interactive version of the dashboard is not supported in any IE browser, however there's a light* version of dashboard available that works without JavaScript and intended to have fast loading times on low connectivity networks, legacy browsers and devices.

* Light version has limited features
