Can I create new pages?

Are updates reflected immediately on the frontend after updating backend?

Yes, updated content should be visible immediately, if that doesn't happen, please send request to support@disasterdashboards.com to clear the cache.

How can I edit layout/styles of the frontend dashboard?

Layout editing is limited and locked for council users. Council users may change things like colors, links, background, texts, images etc, using the Council CT. Changing general layout such as position and size of widgets at this stage may only be done by Support Team support@disasterdashboards.com upon request.

This is done to keep the dashboard design consistent, recognisable across councils, reliable and easy to maintain and update.

How can I edit an existing page?

Go to Manage > Content, select a page you want to edit then follow instructions from this page. It explains how to change text and graphic content along with some other aspects of a page. More advanced editing may not be possible from a backend. Please inquire this with Support support@disasterdashboards.com.

How can I delete a page?

If you know that you may need this page later but just temporarily would like to hide it from menu, then follow these steps.

If you would like to delete a page permanently, please navigate to Manage > Content, find a page you want to edit, next to the Edit button click the small triangle and choose Delete. Alternatively, click Edit, scroll all the way down and click Delete. (This action is irreversible)

Can I create new content types?

Creating new pages is certainly possible, but creating new content types for a unique special use case - not. For this, please contact Support support@disasterdashboards.com to discuss the use case and available options.

Can I create a new (custom) widget?

At the moment this is not possible. But there are 15+ existing widgets, please contact Support to discuss options.

How can I change the order of how the pages appear in the menu?

How do I undo newly saved changes to page content?

Currently not possible, but this feature coming in the next release.

If I cannot see the changes in the Drupal system reflected in the dashboard what does this mean?

Typically changes are reflected immediately after saving content, if that doesn't happen, give it a moment, try to refresh a page again and open in incognito mode. If changes are still not visible please contact Support support@disasterdashboards.com to resolve the issue.
