# Remove/Unlink
You may also want to remove a menu item from the menu.
# Permanent
IMPORTANT!
Deleting parent menu item will unlink and delete all nested child items
ATTENTION
Deleting a menu item that is linked to General Information CT will not delete the CT itself.
If you'd like to permanently delete the link, then follow these steps:
Navigate to
Manage > Menu.Click Edit child items.
Next, click the small arrow icon next to Edit button and then click Delete. Alternatively, click Edit, scroll to the bottom and click Delete there for the same result.
# Temporary
To temporarily remove a link from the menu with ability to easily put it back just check/uncheck the Enabled checkbox next to Edit button for menu items and then do not forget to click Save.
